Ok, so yeah. I had this crazy dream. Started off that I was at a joint PIG/Sow show, then all of a sudden an orchestra appeared out of nowhere. Then Sasha showed up and gave me a bottle of vodka, and then they all started playing Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 3. But shit was fucked up. It was like Rachmaninoff from hell, and I woke up screaming.
Yeah...

V.V lucky, I never have musician dreams. Mine are all surrealist horror films. My very subconscious loathes me. They're always real descriptive too... beautiful lighting, dazzling characters, I need to go back to therapy...

I had one the othernight that was pretty sweet though.
It centered around a society within ordinary society of sentient zombies. To lay the backstory, I should point out that in the dream, zombies can sometimes resist the urge to consume human flesh for several decades before they lose it and snap, at which point they're stereotypical brainless corpses. Which is why some of them occasionally choose to just eat people anyway, to maintain their "humanity" or sentience at the least.
Anyway, after a couple weird murders go down in my city, I and some friends track down a group of zombies in the woods who tell us one of their ranks has gone rogue recently. I put two and two together and realize it's a zombie who's been killing people. Before long he's converted half of the city to mindless undead thralls.
A lot of what happens from there is fuzzy, but eventually we end up in some abandoned basement levels of some sort of complex... it might've been some government shit, I don't recall... though I'm under the impression it was all some company's doing. Anyway, we've gotten to the task of trying to barricade ourselves in the lower levels, trying to find the controls for the locks and security stuff.
After some creepy moments in the dark glimpsing to a vaguely sinister past concerning what the building was originally used for, we find a person. Turns out the woman had been living off of stored food, sleeping in the main control room, refusing to abandon her project's subject: a motherfucking zombie whale.
A large portion of the control room's walls were glass that let you see into the massive tank. Evidently the zombies were originally part of some big test or other that had gotten fucked up and eventually been given up on. The whale however was inexplicably, the only animal the tests had succeeded on. It didn't need to cannibalize it's own species, it was just a whale, with crazy zombie skill (immortal, regenerative, the whole nine yards). Its handler had elected to secretly stay with what she viewed to be her "friend" (she should've just bought a fucking dog). I think it was also made clear that her survival down there was made possible largely in part by some sort of impossible backup generator she's been using to keep the lights on, temperature comfy, etc.
Well anyway she reveals all of this to us, and tells us she's going to let us stay down there until proper measures can be taken to destroy the zombies, as evidently such a thing existed, but would require the killing of her whale as well. She decides to make the sacrifice, viewing a large part of this mess as her fault for having participated in the experiments to begin with. Real soon though, a security camera shows something weird, a shadow like a person's, then we loose video. A few minutes later the head zombie renegade himself is there, I don't think he even lays down any evil plans, he just walks towards us real slow. The chick tries to initiate some safety protocol, but the lights start to flicker, and we realize another zombie must be taking out the generator. I wake up right as the lights go out.
How fucking cinematic...

Zombie whale... that made my night. However, I feel a whale pet is a far better choice than a dog. Except for the whole gigantic pool in your apartment thing.

You could always turn those horror dreams into a best selling novel. Or at least a plot to a video game. Those are often a little ... ok, a lot full of plot holes, hehe ;D My dreams fall into: so boring I can't remember it, sex, or twisted and so fucked up I wake up trying to scream. Sadly, guess which kind I've been having lately I can't say much about the last one outside of a murdered pet and inanimate objects moving on their own.
